About UHOTH
WHY DO WE HAVE AN IDEA AND SERVE IT?
Our world is facing many problems right now—poverty, exploitation, war, crime, corruption, injustice, climate change, mass extinctions, and population growth. So, what do we do when we face problems? We solve them. We aim to eradicate them from the root. We live on planet Earth, so we are inherently a part of it. That means the Earth's problems are our problems too. They affect us and are connected to us in countless ways. This reality compels us to try to solve the world’s problems. This urge leads us to serve humanity, and through that, to try to save the Earth. That’s why we have a goal—and that’s why we work toward it.
SO, WHAT ARE WE DOING RIGHT NOW?
We are trying to eliminate global problems. We are doing our best to make that happen. But what is our best? We don’t know for sure—not yet. But we’re working to figure it out, to define it, and to reach it. That’s why we gather in this group. That’s why we hold meetings, initiate projects, and stay active. We’re striving to refine our actions, to improve ourselves, and to make more effective attempts. So we can discover our best—or create it—and then offer it to the world.
WHAT DO I MEAN BY “OUR BEST”?
I mean getting as close as possible to achieving our ideal: saving humanity and the Earth. That’s part of why we focus on being productive, staying committed to our goals, and stepping away from distractions like video games and mainstream pop culture.
WHY ARE WE SO MOTIVATED TO CHANGE THE WORLD?
Because the world has problems, and we want to solve them. We want to help the world transform—from a place burdened by problems to one that is free of them. That transformation is the change we’re aiming for. When we aren’t changing or acting, we’re still trying to bring about the reality we want—a world that has changed. That’s why we try. That’s why we act.
BUT WHY ARE WE SO MOTIVATED?
Because we develop ideas that aim to change the world. These ideas become ideologies, and ideologies compel us to apply them. As a result, ideology becomes movement. That’s what’s happening with the ideas we’ve created. That’s why we are not just thinkers of the future or dreamers of utopia. We are doers. We act. We move. This is the ultimate outcome of taking our thoughts about the world and life seriously.
AND WHAT ABOUT MOTIVATION?
Motivation alone isn’t the key to success. In fact, we don’t need most of what we think we need. But we stay motivated because we have something to pursue. We do this to sustain our work and our movement.
SO, HOW DO WE, AS PROPAGATORS OF OUR TRANSHUMANIST IDEOLOGY, ADDRESS THIS LIMITATION?
We do it by exploring and embracing new ways of seeing the world. Yet, ideologies often bind us to a fixed perspective. That’s why we made a critical decision—to dissolve the traditional structure of our organization. Instead, we created a meeting ground—a space for people, groups, and ideologies to come together under a shared ideal. I call this the umbrella method. Our common goal still reflects our ideology, allowing us to stay connected to our doctrine and worldview. But the umbrella method also lets us welcome different perspectives. That’s why our group has become a convergence point for people, ideas, philosophies, and movements—each serving a shared ideal: to help humanity flourish and to save planet Earth.
